The fine line between being macho, being girly and being Doraemon
This is so crazy. Man, I could hardly believe it but it's real. I was bawling my eyes out.2 something I was there lining up waiting for our turn which is still a long run. 4 something we went up and gave our best and have no regrets at all. 4:35, we're waiting for the results. They announced the ranking starting from the third place, which goes to PBSM. [SHOCKER!!!!]The second, which goes to KRS. When I thought we had no chance at all, hanging my head low, preparing to cry because Scouts are making the sure-win-faces. The teacher was like "Dengan markah setinggi 260 [something like that la], juara ialah.... RENJER PUTERI!!!" We were asked to stand still no matter what. No screaming, no crying, no moving around. But when they called us, we just can't help it!!! We jumped and screamed and did all sorts of things. [Except for Shung Li la, who stood still.] When Yee Seen went out and received the piala and cash, I was already bawling. I don't know why, it was an emotional moment. Everything was in slow motion. Never a day in my life had I not hope for us to win and we won!!!! I was like crying was we sing the National Song. Crying when we sing the World Song, crying when we hug each other, crying when people came and congrats us, crying when Yee Seen hug me. And cry again when people talk about it. I cried so much, it's not me anymore. I looked beside and Onn Gie, Jing Yee, Yee Seen, Kai Xing, Pui Ping, Manda, Hui Wei, Janet and so many people with teary eyes. The seniors who came to support was as happy as we are when we won and handmade a banner for us. All the reasons to cry more. People were like coming to me and say "Don't cry la." Hugs. I was like "I never thought we would win. But we did." Then they're like "Don't cry already la." I was like "I really, really never thought of that lor..." End of conversation. It's useless having a conversation with me when I'm crying. -.-''' It's tears of joy not crying as I like to put it. I tell you la, YEE SEEN IS A FEMININE DORAEMON WHO CRIES FUNNILY!!!!!!! Yee Seen also marched macho-ly la. There are frustrating moments during kawad practices but there is not a day that I regretted being in Pandu. And I'm not saying this because we won. I'm saying this because I love all of you and want you to know it. . . UNITY IS STRENGTH. . . Let's show the people what we're made of in the Zone competition!!!! -It's a special moment and I'm gonna remember all the rights and faults as it is. |
